Short on time but able to get a round in fly fishing at Celebration Park with the Micro Fly Rod! Mainly Sunfish and Bluegill on the Marilyn Monroe Tenkara Fly… Fun stuff!

Tested the Two Piece Micro Fly Rod at Bethany Lakes yesterday. Rod worked well; was able to cast to the backing several times and had no issues reaching the fish that were in the pond. Fished Celebration Park’s North Pond this evening for about an hour. Noticed the water level was much lower compared to two months ago. Luckily, the fish were biting. They were little… perfect for the Micro Fly Rod and some Micro Fishing!  

Stopped by the Back Pond at Bethany Lakes this morning for a quick trip. Had about 20″ to fish before it was time to head to the “Salt Mines”. Micro Fly Rod Fishing at Kroger Pond this evening. Bite was good on little Bass and Bluegill. Foam Grasshopper in Size 16 worked well, but ended up losing the fishing fly to a “Tree Fish”! Switched to a Tenkara Fly and was able to continue to hook up with the little Bass and Bluegill. Fun stuff!
