Sidetracked this past Sunday from fishing. Go figure – needed to fix a lawn sprinkler that broke, then had to fix two more that were leaking. Decided to give the Standup Longboard workout and Micro Flyrod Fishing another try Sunday afternoon. Was a warm day but a nice one to catch a few Sunfish and Bluegill using the Telescoping Micro Flyrod and the Elk Hair Caddis. Took the Wine Cork Micro Flyrod for a quick trip to Bethany this round. Only had 15″ to fish; caught three Bass that went for a Foam Damsel Fly! Cooler temps compared to the other day but seemed like the Bass (and Bluegill) remain lurking in the shallows. Fun stuff!
