Stocker Trout Fishing answers one question fast: when was a lake, river, or pond last stocked with fish? We mirror official stocking reports and schedules published by state wildlife agencies, keep a per-water history, and send email alerts when a water you follow is stocked.

Every other state, for now (Pennsylvania, Colorado, Virginia, and Missouri are next on the list). We also only know what each agency publishes: private club stockings and unreported plants are not here, and tribal, utility and federal releases only where a state agency compiles them (Washington's dataset does; most do not). A water missing from this site may still be stocked - check your state's wildlife agency. Useful starting points: the US Fish & Wildlife hatchery system and your state agency's fishing page.
How fresh is the data?
Scraped state reports refresh daily; New York's statewide list is an annual archive published by DEC with month precision. Every page shows the date we last checked its source, and a site-wide banner appears if a daily feed stops refreshing. Scheduled plants (California's weekly plan) are labeled scheduled and are subject to change by the agency.
